    BC has released new programs to support and expand services for children and youth with support needs. The BC Child and Youth Disability Benefit and the BC Child and Youth Disability Supplement will replace the current School Aged Extended Therapy (SAET) through the At Home Program.

    CMEDS is a pediatric equipment recycling pool that is funded by the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Previously called CMERLS and delivered by the Red Cross, this program became the responsibility of HME (a for-profit medical equipment dealer).
